Kraków budzi we mnie poczucie dumy – zasłużenie znalazł się na liście UNESCO – ale też pewnej melancholii. Myslę, że to za sprawą niepowatrzalnego klimatu Kazimierza. Nie miałam dotychczas okazji poczuć tętna Krakowa. Moje pobyty w nim były jedno lub dwudniowe i starałam się chłonąć jego przeszłość. Może to dlatego, że II wojna światowa zniszczyła zabytki większości polskich miast. Kraków jest niewątpliwie miejscem wielokrotnych powrotów...

Krakow awakes in me a feeling of pride – it deserved to be on the UNESCO list – but also some kind of melancholy. I think it is due to the unique atmosphere of Kazimierz. I haven’t got an opportunity to feel the spirit of the city yet. My stays were too short – just one, or two days, and during that time I tried to take in its past. It may be caused by the fact that the WWII destroyed the monuments of the majority of Polish cities. Krakow is without any doubts a place to return many times.

Lubię chwalić się Krakowem moim znajomym, wtedy jestem dumny z Krakowa – czuję się tak, jakby to było moje miasto. Kiedy tu jestem, to jakoś wolniej płynie czas, choć i tak zawsze go brakuje, tyle można jeszcze zwiedzić, zobaczyć. Chce się wracać do Krakowa.	I like to boast about Krakow to my friends, at that moment I feel proud of Krakow – I feel like it was my city. When I am there the time passes slower, although I never have enough of it – there is so much to visit, to see. You always want to return there.

К сожалению в Кракове мне удалось побыть всего одни сутки. Город оставил неизгладимое впечатление, очень хочется приехать сюда и внимательно ознакомиться с городом. Тихие маленькие улочки старого города и шумящая ночью центральная улица. Именно от сюда можно привести чудесные сувениры сделанные в ручную именно здесь, а не привезенные из Китая.

Niestety w Krakowie udało mi się spędzić zaledwie jeden dzień. Chciałbym przyjechać tu jeszcze raz i poznać lepiej miasto, które wywarło na mnie niezatarte wrażenie. Te małe, ciche uliczki Starego Miasta i tętniący nocnym życiem Rynek Główny. Można przywieźć stąd wspaniałe miejscowe pamiątki wykonane ręcznie, a nie importowane z Chin.

Unfortunately in Krakow I was able to stay for only one day. The city left a lasting impression, I really want to come back here and get to know the city. Its small streets are quiet during the day and noisy at night, especially in the Main Square. From here one can bring wonderful hand-crafted gifts and not imported from China.

Pokud milujete velké náměstí a ulice, kde je turistů tak akorát, dobré jídlo a milí lidé, pak je polský Krakow přesně pro vás. Město, kde se stále něco děje, a proto je stále důvod se do něj vracet. V Krakowě se neustále konají různé výstavy, festivaly, kulturní akce. Krakow je znám také jako hlavní město kultury a umění ve střední Evropě. Ale i město samotné stojí za zhlédnutí. Umění potřebuje volnost a svobodu, a přesně to Krakow umožňuje.

Jeśli uwielbiasz wielkie place i ulice, gdzie turyści są mile widziani, jedzenie jest dobre a ludzie uprzejmi to polski Kraków jest dla Ciebie. Jest to miasto, gdzie zawsze się coś dzieje, zawsze jest powód, by do niego wrócić. Stale są tu organizowane różne wystawy, festiwale i wydarzenia kulturalne. Kraków jest też znany jako stolica kultury i sztuki w Europie Centralnej. Miasto samo w sobie również jest warte zobaczenia. Sztuka potrzebuje wolności i swobody, a to dokładnie oferuje Kraków.

If you love big squares and streets, where tourists are just right, good food and nice people, the Polish Krakow is for you. A city where always something happens and there is always a reason to come back to it. In Krakow they are constantly held various exhibitions, festivals and cultural events. Krakow is also known as a capital of culture and art in Central Europe. But also the city itself is worth seeing. The art needs freedom and liberty, and that's what Krakow enables.

Краків, то перше польське місто, в якому я побував. Вражень було море! Нажаль, були в місті лише кілька годин. Але те, що побачив в ньому, запам'ятаю надовго, якщо не назавжди :)

Kraków to pierwsze polskie miasto, które odwiedziłem. Niestety, byłem tam tylko kilka godzin, ale wrażeń było mnóstwo! To, co zobaczyłem, pozostanie w mojej pamięci na długo, jeśli nie na zawsze. :)

Krakow was the first Polish city I visited. Unfortunately I spent there only a few hours, but it was very intense. All that I saw will stay with me for a very long time, if not forever :)

Obwohl es schon einige Jahre her ist, dass wir Polen besucht hatten, erinnere ich mich noch oft daran. Wir haben eine Rundfahrt durch die verschiedenen Gegenden gemacht - Ostseeküste, Danzig, Masurien, und jede hatte ihre eigene Atmosphäre. Die letzte Station war Krakau, und auch hier war es wieder ganz anders als im Norden. Obwohl Krakau über 1000 km von meiner Heimat entfernt ist, kamen mir einige Dinge sehr vertraut vor und andere wiederum völlig fremd. Krakau ist ein faszinierender Treffpunkt von Ost und West, Süd und Nord, Alt und Neu, Arm und Reich, Kleinstädisch und Urban. Jede Kultur hat hier ihre Spuren hinterlassen, und mit jedem Schritt durch die Straßen und Gässchen begegnet einem eine andere Facette der lebendigen, reichhaltigen Geschichte dieser Stadt. Dadurch ist Krakau ein Europa im Kleinen in dem die verschiedenen Kulturen friedlich zusammenleben und eine einzigartige Atmosphäre erzeugen.

Mimo tego, że minęło już kilka lat od mojej wizyty w Polsce, ciągle ją wspominam. Pojechaliśmy na wycieczkę po różnych regionach - zaczynając od wybrzeża Bałtyku przez Gdańsk na Mazury - i każdy z nich miał swoją niepowtarzalną atmosferę. Ostatnim przystankiem był Kraków, gdzie - znów - wszystko było inne niż na północy. Mimo, że Kraków jest ponad 1000 km od mojego domu, niektóre rzeczy wydały się mi być znajome, a inne kompletnie nieznane. Kraków jest fascynującym miejscem, gdzie spotyka się Wschód z Zachodem, Północ z Południem, stare z nowym, ubóstwo z bogactwem, prowincjonalność z wielkomiejskością. Każda z kultur zostawiła ślad w bogatej historii tego miasta. Właśnie dlatego można określić Kraków jako Europę w miniaturze, gdzie różne kultury żyją ze sobą w zgodzie i tworzą niepowtarzalną atmosferę.

Though it is already some years ago that I visited Poland I still often remember it. We made a round trip through the different regions - starting from Baltic Sea coast, Gdansk, Masuria - and each of them had its own atmosphere.The last stop was at Krakow, and here, everything was again completely different from the North. Though Krakow is more than 1000 km away from my home, some things appeared very familiar to me - others were completely strange. Krakow is a fascinating meeting point of East and West, North and South, Old and New, Poor and Rich, Provincial and Urban. Each culture left its tracks, with every step through the avenues and alleyways you meet a different facet of the rich, living history of this city. Thus, Krakow is a Europe in miniature, where different cultures live together peacefully, and create a unique atmosphere.
